Shipping Policy
Thank you for visiting and shopping at Green Mountain Horse & Tack. The following terms and conditions constitute our Shipping Policy.
 
Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 24 to 48 hours. Most orders are shipped on the day the order was received.  Orders received on a Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.

While we make every effort to reflect accurate inventory levels on our web site, it is possible that an item is out of stock even if our web site indicates otherwise. If the item is out of stock at the time we receive your order, we will contact you by email to notify you of this. Depending on the item’s availability from our vendor, we will give you every opportunity to: wait for the item to return to in-stock status, purchase a different item that is currently in stock, or receive a refund for the item.  If you do not respond to our email within 24 hours, we will then attempt to contact you by phone. If we still cannot reach you, your order will be fully refunded, and you will be notified via email.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders that total $100.00 or more will receive free shipping; please note that cowboy hats and saddles are exempt from free shipping and will be charged shipping upon checkout. If your order qualifies for free shipping, GreenMountainHorse.com will choose the least expensive shipping carrier.  Often times this will be USPS Parcel Select Ground, which can take up to 8 days for deliver to the West coast and far reaching areas of the continental US.  If you need your order sooner than 8 days, we recommend you choose a different shipping method.  If you choose a different shipping method you will be charged shipping costs.  We can ship your order USPS, UPS and Federal Express.  If you have very specific or urgent needs regarding the shipment of your purchase, such as expedited delivery, we recommend you contact us via email at sales@greenmountainhorse.com or call us at 234-248-4245.

We are located in and ship from the state of Ohio. This allows us to ship to 80% of the country within 1-3 business days. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or to any country outside of the Continental US. Please note that delivery delays can occasionally occur that are outside of our control and once the parcel is handed off to the carrier, we are no longer responsible or liable for delays and/or loss.

Shipment to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses
Greenmountainhorse.com does have the ability to ship to active military at APO/FPO addresses. Please contact us at sales@greenmountainhorse.com to make these arrangements.

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Greenmountainhorse.com is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages
Greenmountainhorse.com is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. Once a package leaves our hands, the carrier holds full responsibility for the package and it’s contents. If you received your order and it exhibits clear signs of being damaged in shipping, please contact the shipment carrier immediately to file a claim.  Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.

Pick up in Store
If you wish to shop online and pick up in our retail location, we are happy to accommodate you. Simply choose “pick up in store” as your shipment choice. As soon as your order is ready to pick up, we will contact you by phone, usually within just a few hours of placing your order. If you wish, we’d be happy to bring your order out to your vehicle for contact-less pickup – just let us know. Pickup in Store is a courtesy to our local customers and there is no charge for this service.

International Shipping Policy
We currently do not ship outside the Continental U.S.
